Improve data management practices and the use of data in Polio/AFP and vaccine preventable diseases surveillance, and assist national and sub-national vaccination programme staff in strengthening data flow processes;2. Execute regular data compilation, quality control and analysis in order to assist in polio/ AFP, measles and other vaccine preventable diseases surveillance and evaluation for decision making at alllevels;3. Ensure regular data harmonization sessions/meetings involving national laboratory and surveillance officers (EPI and IDSR) at national and provincial levels;4. Conduct data management needs assessment in order to identify existing strengths and weaknesses and support the national vaccination programme team in identifying solutions to address weaknesses identified; 5. Elaborate programme and material requirement for training/refresher training on data management; 6. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures fordata management, backup and archiving; 7. Conduct supervisory visits to priority provinces on data quality verification, analysis, interpretation and feedback;8. Support the production of regular feedback bulletins to be shared by all stakeholders at all levels;9. Perform other duties in polio eradication and vaccine preventable disease activities request by the supervisors.## REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS### Education: Essential : University degree in data management, computer applications and management support, basic epidemiology, statistics or demography. Desirable : Public health degree desirable.### Experience: Essential : Experience: of at least 5 years in data management, epidemiology surveillance, vaccination and/or accelerated disease control and surveillance of vaccine preventable diseases. The remuneration for the above position comprises an annual base salary starting at USD 71,335 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable), a variable post adjustment, which reflects the cost of living in a particular duty station, and currently amounts to USD 3293 per month for the duty station indicated above.
