Voltar Mechanical Engineer Tecnologia Bumi Armada Luanda , Angola Hoje Até 11/09/2026 Tempo inteiro Presencial Guardar Candidatar agora Adaptar meu CV a esta vaga Descrição da vaga Provide Mechanical Engineering support to ABJV FPSO Operations responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical related support issues are addressed, and that the appropriate technical support is provided to the operations teams onshore and offshore. Key Responsibilities: Provide Mechanical engineering support which may entail extended offshore visits as and when required. Generates work scopes, detailed cost estimates, and, where necessary, compile maintenance and minor modification work packs for offshore implementation. To provide knowledge/expertise in all aspects of specific types of mechanical equipment, fabricated equipment, materials handling equipment. Coordinate activities in the facility integrated plan ensuring compliance to the planning gates Provide operational and specialist Mechanical engineering support to modification or study teams or projects in line with the BAB technical management of change procedure. Assists in setting budgets which are realistic, manage expenditure for all work scopes within the limits of those budgets, demonstrating appreciation of commercial and technical risks, managing this appropriately within own work and highlighting any significant issues. Management of Subcontractors and suppliers ensuring supporting vendors and suppliers comply with company standards i.e. Safety Management, Quality Management and Corporate Social Responsibility. To perform engineering design and analysis of mechanical engineering work to client specifications, relevant client and company procedures and policies, as well as relevant industry Standards and Codes. To interface with other relevant disciplines to ensure technical integrity of design is maintained. To support and produce the assigned discipline deliverables within designated time frames. Participate in and contribute to various Safety Reviews related to the projects, i.e. HAZID, HAZOP etc, and close out assigned actions in a timely manner. Maintain Mechanical Equipment Specifications, Standards and Procedures and be the focal point of contact for the Mechanical Safety Rules and their application. Maintains Mechanical Standards and Procedures and be the local owner of appropriate Mechanical management procedures. Provide input and support long-term facility modification and maintenance plans/programs to ensure cost effective operation and asset integrity throughout the FPSO lifetime. Carry out technical integrity audits on mechanical systems and work management as part of the Technical Audit programme. Propels high safety acumen with regards to FPSO facility daily operations. Lead and participate in a proactive safety performance and KPl's and provide appropriate input to the Process Safety management system. Participate in equipment failure investigations and incident investigations as required Ensures compliance with the BAB/AMO Safety, Health, Security and Environmental Management Systems for all assets/facilities are met within areas of own responsibility. Ensures that all requirements, deadlines, and support services for FPSO Operations, Construction, Maintenance and Materials are met and carried out by offshore personnel. Influence and collaborates with the asset leadership teams and all other relevant stakeholders. Demonstrate self-motivation, strong personal leadership and drive toward teamwork. Performs any other reasonable tasks as required to support operations commensurate with training, experience: and ability. Health, Safety and Environmental Responsibilities: Adhering to the IOGP ‘Life Saving Rules’. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of, and compliance with, the Corporate Major Accident Prevention Policy. Ensuring knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergency procedures, company policy and instructions. Attending all required mandatory training. Safeguard all company data, systems and operations by adhering to cybersecurity policies and procedures, including using strong and unique passwords, and promptly reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches. Requirements: Relevant Mechanical Engineering experience: within FPSO or offshore oil and gas operations . Strong technical knowledge of static mechanical equipment, fabricated equipment and materials-handling equipment. Experience: in mechanical engineering design, analysis, maintenance and modifications. Able to provide technical support to onshore and offshore operations, including extended offshore visits when required. Experience: preparing work scopes, cost estimates and maintenance or modification work packs. Familiar with engineering standards, industry codes, technical procedures and Management of Change processes. Experience: supporting long-term maintenance, facility modifications and asset-integrity programmes. Familiar with safety reviews such as HAZID and HAZOP and the closure of assigned actions. Experience: conducting technical-integrity audits and equipment-failure or incident investigations. Able to manage contractors, vendors, budgets, expenditure and associated commercial risks. Strong understanding of mechanical safety rules, permit-to-work systems, process safety and HSE requirements. Able to collaborate effectively with operations, construction, maintenance, materials and other engineering disciplines. Strong technical reporting, problem-solving, teamwork and stakeholder-management skills.
