Provide electrical equipment engineering and technical support with offshore visits as required. Provide Instrument, DCS, Control, F&G and Safety systems engineering support as required. Frontline Telecomms support is also required. Provide support in the control and management of software security management and software change. Provide technical support to offshore Operations, which may entail extended offshore visits. Ensure all modifications to the Instrument & Control systems fully comply and meet with the requirements: of the appropriate Legislation, Asset Verification Scheme, Company Specifications, Standards and Procedures including BAB management of change procedure. Provide operational and specialist instrument/electrical engineering, control and safety systems support to modification or study teams or projects in line with the BAB technical management of change procedure. Ensure all modifications to the instrument/electrical systems fully comply and meet with the requirements: of the related legislation, Asset Verification Scheme, BAB Management of Change procedure, Company specifications, standards and procedures. Suggest technical improvements, upgrades, and enhancements to improve reliability and uptime of electrical equipment and instrumentation. Assist in setting budgets which are realistic, manage expenditure for all work scopes within the limits of those budgets. Ensure all maintenance activities, planned, correctives, and PMAs are carried out in compliance with the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS). Continual system obsolescence checks and reviews to minimise the risk to the asset. Generate workscopes, detailed cost estimates, and where necessary, compile maintenance and minor modification work packs for offshore implementation. Maintain electrical equipment specifications, standards and procedures and be the local point of contact for the electrical safety rules and their application on FPSO Olombendo Assist with operational health care contracts relating to first line support, ensure that these contracts effectively support the production delivery objectives. Maintain instrument/electrical standards and procedures and be the local owner of appropriate electrical management procedures and performance standards. Ensure that all requirements, deadlines, and support services for FPSO Operations, Construction, Maintenance and Materials are met and carried out by offshore personnel. Carry out technical integrity audits on electrical systems and work management as part of the Technical Audit programme. Propel high safety acumen with regards to FPSO facility daily operations. Lead and participate in a proactive safety performance and KPl's and provide appropriate input to the Process Safety management system. Participate in equipment failure investigations and incident investigations as required. Management of subcontractors and suppliers ensuring supporting vendors and suppliers comply with company standards ie. Safety Management, Quality Management and Corporate Social Responsibility. Ensure compliance with the BAB/AMO Safety, Health, Security and Environmental Management Systems for all assets/facilities are met within areas of own responsibility. Ensures that all requirements, deadlines, and support services for FPSO Operations, Construction, Maintenance and Materials are met and carried out by offshore personnel Ensure a significant focus on safety with regards to the FPSO facility daily operations Perform any other reasonable tasks. Requirements: Relevant Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering experience: within FPSO. Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, instrumentation, DCS, control systems, Fire & Gas systems and safety systems. Able to provide technical support to both onshore and offshore operations, including extended offshore visits when required. Experience: in electrical and instrumentation system modifications, upgrades and Management of Change processes. Familiar with applicable legislation, asset verification schemes, engineering standards and electrical safety rules. Experience: with planned and corrective maintenance activities and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Able to prepare technical work scopes, cost estimates and maintenance or modification work packs. Experience: in technical integrity audits, equipment failure investigations and incident investigations. Able to monitor equipment obsolescence and recommend improvements to reliability and operational uptime. Experience: managing contractors, vendors and suppliers.
